She was unbelievably right on with my history, my present, and she suggested appropriate redirection of my personal priorities. The messages she got for me were clear and totally spot on. She said I would get a sign, a white lily. Lo and behold, within a few minutes a huge bouquet of white lilies showed up! Truly, I have NEVER seen an arrangement of white lilies. Another sign was finding money. Found a quarter at the Louisville airport this morning. She is worth a trip to New Orleans!

My Story
I began playing with Tarot cards as a little girl, but laid them aside for many years until I was involved in a serious car accident in 2012. At that time, I had what I would call a near-death experience and I picked up the cards again soon after. They quickly became my source of peace and the way that I communicate with The Divine. I began reading for only myself, but soon friends and family were asking for readings also. I found that the messages from the cards brought others peace as well. The positive response and affirmations from my loved ones gave me the confidence to try reading at mystical fairs and festivals. I was surprised and delighted at the positive feedback I received from those that I didn’t know at all. I decided to dedicate myself to this work and opened the Cat's Meow, Tarot and Talismans, LLC in 2015. I believe in the ability to channel information and messages from the spiritual realm through the use of the Tarot cards. I just share the information that the cards are giving and the message speaks for itself. I tend to view myself as more of an interpreter than a psychic, but whatever the case, I love what I do. I have spent several years now heavily researching the meanings of the Tarot cards and developing my skills. I have taken correspondence courses through The American Tarot Association and continually work to increase my knowledge and expertise. We are all lifelong learners, after all. Jewelry and Talisman Design
My interest in Talismans also began when I was a child. I loved to find and collect “special” objects from nature or thrift stores. I would carry them with me, feeling that they provided protection. They gave me a sense of strength and calm. I continue to feel that objects carry a certain vibration and can provide us with various benefits. After my car accident, I took several Religious Exploration classes. Through one of these courses, I was shown by a High Priestess how to cleanse, bless and consecrate sacred objects. I also learned how to use specific herbs and oils during this process in order to increase their energy and effectiveness. I realized that through this process I could use my own energy field, power and intention to awaken and infuse these objects with love and purpose. I now regularly integrate spirit into matter as part of my healing and spiritual practice. One of the other things that I enjoy doing is making jewelry, charms and other small art pieces. As I have work on these projects, I focus my intentions on providing each piece with positive energy while I am creating it. I believe that material objects hold their own light and energy. When they are cleansed, blessed, consecrated and dedicated for a certain purpose, they become Talismans which can be charged with the intention to protect, help, and assist people in numerous ways.
The Combination of the Reading and the Talisman
During a Tarot Card Reading, if messages seem to connect to a Divine Helper, Guide, Animal Totem, Angel or Deity, or seem to point to suggested areas of the person's life that could use support, I enjoy making a Talisman specific to this for the person if they so choose. I research the elements and materials that might best help with the issue or problem that the person may have, and I utilize them in the making or blessing of the object. I may also dedicate the Talisman in honor of God, The Creator, the Divine Helper, Angel or Ancestor that the individual feels most drawn to and ask for Their blessings, intervention and assistance for the wearer or owner. If you choose, as part of my services after a reading, I can create a Talisman for you based on the information that I receive. I consult with you about which sort of item fits your budget and what you feel you would like to try, as in jewelry, a car-key chain, a small hanging piece or so on. Then I choose the best materials such as crystals, stones, symbols or charms for your specific issue and create an individual Talisman just for you. I will cleanse, bless and consecrate the item based on your precise need. Additionally, when each piece is done, I include an informational piece explaining the object and what it is made of, intended for and blessed with. If it is dedicated to a specific Deity, then I will include information about this Divine Helper and how they may be able to assist you as well. I take a picture of the completed Talisman and send it to you in advance, so that you can decide if it resonates with you and if it is something that you would like to purchase. If so, then I can ship it out, and if not I will just keep it for someone else that I feel might benefit from its energy and healing. There is no obligation to buy it ahead of time.
Professional Reiki Wellness Sessions
I became a Certified Reiki Practitioner in 2015. This means that I have received the attunement and knowledge of the Usui Shiki Ryoho and Karuna Reiki® Techniques from a trained Master Teacher, and that I have demonstrated proficiency in the use of these natural wellness methods. The Reiki process is a very relaxing and peaceful experience. According to the International Center for Reiki Training, Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that may also help to promote healing. Reiki is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is means "spiritually guided life force energy."
