Card of the Day - The 3 of Cups

Card of the Day - The Three of Cups.  This card is all about celebrating with family and friends.  It carries with it a feeling of rejoicing and happiness.  I often view these three as the Three Graces, Aglaia, Euphrosyne and Thalia, bringing joy, plenty and splendor.  They may also be seen as the Triple Goddess, the Moirae or the Fates.  These three ladies have several variants throughout mythology.  (I personally like the Norse version as the Three Norns, Urdr, Verdandi and Skuld.)  The message that I typically get with this card is that if you have been going through difficult times, you need to open up and rely on your friends.  Let them take you out for a fun evening, even if you aren't really feeling like it.  You will have a great time despite yourself.  Friends are healing so go out and raise the glass, give a toast and find enjoyment in others!  Blessings!
