Card of the Day - The Six of Pentacles

The Card of the Day - The Six of Pentacles.  For me, this card represents a win-win situation.  It symbolizes fairness and balance.  While at first it may appear that only one person gives and one receives, in actuality there is a mutual exchange between them.  One gives materially, but receives spiritually, while the other receives materially and gives spiritually.  The result of this is that everyone benefits.  (Hence the third figure who does not yet appear to be part of the transaction.)  The Six of Pentacles encourages you to examine your own circumstances and relationships.  Are you being fair to the people you love?  Are they being fair to you?  Do you feel that your current interactions and situations in life are balanced, or are you taking on more than your fair share?  Is too much being asked of you, or are you asking too much of someone else?  If the scales of balance are somehow out of whack in your life, then it is up to you to restore that balance.  Whether this means that you need to GIVE more or that you need to allow yourself to RECEIVE more is up to you.  As always, I would tell you to follow your instincts and gut feelings on that one.  Helpful hint:  the MORE you give, the MORE you receive and the LESS you give, the LESS you receive.  Follow the universal law and treat others as you wish to be treated.  Blessed Be.
