Tonight, I used my Nefertari’s Tarot deck and I drew the Seven of Wands. When you draw this card, it is time to take a stand and speak your truth. In this deck’s version of the card, the individual has their feet planted firmly on the ground and fends off the dreaded crocodiles of the Nile. In Egypt, the God of the Nile was portrayed as a crocodile or a man with a crocodile head. His name was Sobek and he was a god of strength and power. While crocodiles were feared and hunted, they were also honored and considered the protector of the pharaoh. This card encourages you to draw on your own inner strength to defend yourself or take a stand for what you know is right. Call up your courage and overcome your fears.
